Hungry for BOOKS by Jax Perez

Updated: Feb 15, 2022

This season is all about the book series Warriors by Erin Hunter (Click Link to get this series)

So far I have read three books from this six-book series and I am already on book four. Although this author has added another six and has now different sets with different subsets.

Book #1 Into the Wild

Into the wild is like an introduction. It tells us what the clans are like and what some of the titles are for each character. From names to how these cats become Warriors. In this book, my favorite character is Firepaw who will eventually become Fireheart ( a deputy). He is the main character and he is courageous.

Book #2 Fire & Ice

Fires and Ice are about two clans that are in a constant battle. They each feel that they should own a specific territory. The characters in this book spend their time hunting and training. This is all happening to lead us into the third book. In the meantime, these clans are always fighting for territory. My favorite character in this book is Greypaw who will eventually become Greystripe ( a Warrior). He is a friend of Fireheart and he is a patient hunter.

Book #3 Forest of Secrets

Forest of Secrets is about Fireheart and Greystripe are warriors. They are in the same clan until an unexpected turn of events changes their clan. Fireheart has become a deputy because the original deputy tried to kill the leader of another clan. Now Fireheart and his leader are no longer safe from other clans. My favorite character in this book is Bluestar ( a leader). She is a brave and powerful leader.

The suspense has me ready to dive right into book #4 Rising Storm.

Fun fact: in each book when we reach the last chapter they give us the first of the next book that follows. Talk about cliffhangers!

Moms sections: Hi there I'm Jax's mom and here to share a great way to have a book discussion is super simple. Good Reads has quizzes and questions on various titles. Especially this series Warriors by Erin Hunter. It's a great way to see if your reader is understanding what they are reading.
